Traveler of the Month (July 2008)

We are proud to present Victor Kunitsyn (Victor) as the MapSphere Traveler of the Month in July 2008. We were amazed by his story (unfortunately only in Russian) about his trip to Kamchatka. He climbed several volcanoes including an active one and saw surrealistic landscapes there, he took a bath in hot springs watching the geysers around, and he even met a bear face to face (both survived :-)). In his other trips he rode a horse in the Altai Mountains, visited medieval fortified town of Carcassonne in France, skied in Andorra and sunbathed in Montenegro. As you see, each of the trips is quite unlike the others. And, once again, we present a prize to our traveler of the month. We rewarded Victor with a light-weight and very compact notebook ASUS Eee PC 901 and a GPRS/EDGE/3G modem. We hope to see him in MapSphere during his future travels translated online in real time. And we are also waiting for your trip reports on MapSphere Online.
